After an initial time at the University of Ghana Medical School, I completed my studies at the Turner Dental School, the University of Manchester. I have worked in the NHS for over 25 years in a number of both clinical and dental public health roles including senior dental officer roles. I have also worked in Public Health England in a dental public health role.

I am very enthusiastic about research and have a PhD in dental public health from the University of Manchester. I have also engaged and collaborated with others to produce various communications including scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. I was also the North West Benchmark Examiner and Trainer for the NHS Dental Epidemiology Program for a number of years.

I am very enthusiastic about research, especially epidemiology leading me into research in dental epidemiology which resulted in my obtainment of a PhD in dental public health at the University of Manchester. I have also engaged and collaborated with others to produce various communications including scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. In addition to this, for a period of over 5 years, I was the North West Benchmark Examiner and Trainer for the NHS Dental Epidemiology Program.
